Level 3 Business Administrator - Apprentice
Join our specialist cutting tools branch in Burscough as a Stores Assistant. Based mainly in our sales office, you’ll process incoming and outgoing goods, keep stock records accurate and work closely with the sales team.

Lloyd & Jones Engineers Limited is an independent industrial distributor with branches across the UK.
We are looking for a Stores Assistant to join our specialist cutting tools branch in Burscough.
Our Burscough branch specialises in supplying cutting tools and associated products to engineering and manufacturing companies across the UK. This is not a general warehouse position.
The position is predominantly office based within our sales office, rather than working in a traditional warehouse environment.
The Role:
Working alongside our experienced sales team, your duties will include:
- Booking goods received from suppliers onto our computer system
- Processing and booking goods out to customers
- Checking incoming and outgoing products against orders
- Identifying and handling engineering and cutting-tool products
- Maintaining accurate stock and transaction records
- Liaising with the sales team regarding customer orders and stock
- Assisting with general branch requirements
- You should be reasonably confident using computers, have good attention to detail and be willing to learn our bespoke computer system and product range
Training
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities for permanent employment as a qualified Business Administrator with potential for further training, career development and progression. The apprenticeship is about gaining the skills, knowledge and experience, but any future employment would be subject to the needs of the business and the usual recruitment process at the time.
