Business Development Manager

The role focuses on strategic account development, commercial ownership, and coordinating internal teams to deliver consistent value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own new logo focus with 50% of time working with enterprise accounts managers as an overlay, focusing on account penetration and identifying white-space opportunities across all FluidOne pillars.
  • Deliver structured QBRs, covering performance, risks, roadmap progress, and commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene to support accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility, and commercial reporting.
  • Act as the conduit between clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment across technical, operational, project management, and commercial functions.
  • Build and execute account plans, IT roadmaps, and risk registers aligned to client objectives.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including renewals, and contract changes with senior stakeholders.
  • Work with Solution Architects, Technical Account Managers, Project Managers, and Operations to scope, design, with solutions across Connectivity, Mobile, Modern Workspace, Cyber, and Managed Services.
  • Support onboarding and project delivery by ensuring consistent communication and a smooth client experience, working closely with Project Managers throughout delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in IT, technology, managed services, or MSP environments, ideally with enterprise or mid-market clients.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, shape, and close opportunities across multiple product pillars.
  • Confident communicator capable of leading QBRs and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage complex accounts with multiple workstreams.
  • Strong customer-first mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Keen listener with strong attention to detail and the ability to spot white-space opportunities.
  • Professional, credible, and able to build long-term relationships.
  • Full UK driving licence.
