Data Workstream Lead

Data Workstream Lead | Up to £600 per day | Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Data workstream Lead to join a major financial services transformation programme. You will lead the design and delivery of modern cloud-based data solutions, providing technical leadership across Databricks, dbt and AWS environments. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on data platform modernisation, engineering best practices, and delivering scalable data products within a complex, regulated enterprise environment. Short notice candidates are preferred.

• Lead the data engineering workstream across a major enterprise transformation programme.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across Databricks, dbt and AWS data environments.
• Design and deliver scalable, robust and high-performance cloud-based data solutions.
• Lead the development of modern data pipelines, data products and engineering capabilities.
• Define and promote data engineering standards, patterns, processes and best practices.
• Provide technical direction to data engineers and support the delivery of complex engineering workstreams.
• Work closely with Data Architects and Enterprise Architects to translate architectural principles into practical engineering solutions.
