Senior C&I Engineer – Staff – LondonLocation: LondonThis is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing energy business during a period of continued growth in the Renewable Energy sector. This is working on a project utilizing cutting edge technology to significantly reduce global CO2 emissions. Role & Responsibilities• Support the design, configuration, implementation and testing of SCADA systems.
- Design and testing of simulation software devices for complete project simulation.
- Responsible for engineering design and assessment in line with client expectations as well as supporting others within the team.
- Working within a multidisciplinary team with engineers and designers, in the production of design deliverables for projects within the oil & gas and energy sectors.
- Checking the quality of subcontractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications.
- Will be required to provide input into HAZOP / HAZIDs.
- Fault analysis and reliability assessments; FMEA, FTA, HAZID and HAZOPs.Key Skills & Knowledge• Must be degree qualified, chartered status desired but not essential.
- Experience of designing C&I equipment, preferably in an energy industry environment.
- Previously worked on design projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochem, or Renewable Energy industries.
- Experience of C&I equipment and its application in conventional and safety applications.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and system integration, SCADA configuration and software testing.
- Experience in relevant design standards and protocols.
- Experience in other major energy such as Energy from Waste or similar will also be highly advantageous.
