Cyber Security Level 6 Apprentice
The Cyber Security Apprentice, working within Secure Managed Services, will gain hands-on experience across the Service Desk, Platforms, and Professional Services. This rotational role builds a strong foundation in IT operations, security best practices, risk and compliance, and client-focused service delivery.
Role
Your job duties will include:
- Support day-to-day incident resolution and service requests on the Service Desk, developing troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Assist with infrastructure and cloud platform tasks, learning how secure environments are built, maintained, and monitored.
- Work within the Professional Services team on project-based work, contributing to solution design, implementation, and documentation of secure systems.
- Within the Security Operations Centre (SOC), the apprentice will assist in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, helping to protect client environments in real time.
- Working alongside the Risk and Assurance team, gaining insight into how secure systems are assessed, documented, and maintained to meet compliance standards and mitigate operational risks.
