Job Description

We're looking for an Oracle EBS Enterprise Architect to support EBS Core HR/Payroll modules for UK public sector clients. You'll need expert knowledge of UK Core HR/Payroll processes and proven experience with Oracle Core HR/Payroll guiding & supporting BAU operations, statutory updates, and minor enhancements across the HRMS landscape.

Your role

As an Oracle EBS HCM Enterprise Architect, you'll be instrumental in providing impactful solutions to our clients & supporting existing solutions. Your focus will be on ongoing support of Oracle EBS HCM modules, specifically Core HR/Payroll for the UK public sector. The person should have the capability to validate the existing process, configurations, Data & Integration touch points & execution of payroll. Should have good knowledge on statutory reporting requirement including HMRC.

The Candidate should have a deep understanding of all Core HR, UK Payroll, UK Pension, and UK Absence processes, backed by practical experience with Oracle EBS Core HR/Payroll in the UK public sector. You'll also lead client engagements, discussing integrations, transitioning from current system and reporting across relevant modules. A key part of your role is translating complex technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management. You'll provide necessary support & guidance to existing solutions.

Should have clear understanding & view of impact of proposed changes as part of improvement/enhancement to upstream/downstream systems .

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support & Orchestrate process improvement ideas in Oracle EBS HCM, specifically focusing on Core HR/Payroll for UK clients.
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of Core HR,UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes.
  • Apply hands-on experience in Oracle Global Payroll/Absence, particularly within the UK Public sector.
  • Lead the transition of ongoing system.
  • Ensuring Integration via the integration layer remains robust during upgrades/third party changes
  • Security Architecture: Managing User access reviews, Single Sign on reviews & managing masking in non production environments.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Custom Forms, Performance Tuning.
  • Lead customer discussions pertaining to integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Core HR, Payroll and other relevant modules
  • Guide development teams on customization (OAF, PL/SQL), integration (API, SOA Suite), and data migration (HDL, Web ADI).
  • Ensure system design complies with data protection regulations (GDPR, SOX) and internal security policies.
  • Should have an overall understanding of Integration Touch Points, Reporting Requirements.

Required:

  • Should have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in implementation & support of Oracle EBS HCM for Core HR and Payroll modules for UK.
  • Deep understanding of HR business processes, particularly in the UK Public Sector.
  • Candidate should be proficient in all the Core HR, UK Payroll.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SOA Suite, Integration Cloud (OIC), and API development
  • Knowledgeable on HCM technical tools including HCM Data loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae, Custom Forms, Performance Tuning, Oracle PL/SQL, OAF.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
  • Knowledge and Support of existing solutions.
  • Preparation of Status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log

Preferred

  • Should have excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Should be an excellent planner when it comes to perform release planning and other delivery planning.
  • Should have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Responsible for Coaching and mentoring team members with experience of managing 5+ team members
  • Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies & ITIL Methodologies.
