Principal Software Engineer (Python)

- Design and development of scalable software products.
- Solve complex technical issues, optimize workflows, and provide strategic insights to partners to support project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Data Science, research and product teams
- Set high technical standards
- This is a hands-on, individual contributor role
- Expert-level Python skills
- Extensive experience in software engineering with a focus on designing and implementing high-performance, scalable systems.
- Experience working cross functionally with Product and Research teams
- Experience in cloud technologies (emphasis on Azure) and deployment practices, ensuring seamless and scalable delivery.
- Experience working with ML and Data Science teams and productionizing ML solutions.
- Proven ability to uphold coding and design standards to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Effective communication skills, with experience communicating with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Working knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring
- Experience in Fintech is a plus
