🚀 Cloud Security Engineer | Up to £120k + Benefits | London (Hybrid – 3 days)

I’m working with one of the world’s fastest-growing consumer technology platforms, used by tens of millions globally every month. Their product sits at the intersection of scale, privacy, and real-world impact, and they’re investing heavily in building a world-class cloud security function.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing internal platform engineering team responsible for the foundations that power the entire business: cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, and reliability engineering.

The environment is heavily AWS-native and security is embedded into engineering from day one, not treated as an afterthought.

🔐 What you’ll be working on:

• Strengthening and evolving AWS security posture across a large-scale cloud estate
• Embedding security controls directly into infrastructure and engineering workflows
• Driving security-as-code initiatives across Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Improving container and software supply chain security (image signing, policy enforcement, vulnerability remediation)
• Building automated controls around compliance, governance, and developer access
• Enhancing observability and reporting across cloud security operations
• Partnering closely with engineering teams to make secure delivery seamless at scale

AWS | Kubernetes | Terraform | Terragrunt | Kyverno | Checkov | Python/Bash | CI/CD | Security Hub | GuardDuty | Cosign/Sigstore | Cloud-native security tooling

✅ What they’re looking for:

• 5+ years experience in Cloud / Infrastructure / Platform Security
• Deep AWS security expertise in large-scale environments
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Terraform and container security experience
• Experience implementing policy-as-code and security automation
• Strong understanding of IAM, OAuth, SAML, JWT, SSO
• Infrastructure-as-code mindset and strong automation capability

Nice to have:

Zero Trust exposure | SIEM / IDS tooling | Multi-cloud environments | AWS Security certs / CISSP / CKS
