IT Support Apprenticeship
Luvata is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join its IT team as an IT Support Apprentice. This role will provide hands-on experience supporting business-critical technology systems while working towards an industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification.
Role
You will gain practical experience across IT support, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, business applications and IT infrastructure, while receiving structured training and mentorship from experienced IT professionals.
As an IT Support Apprentice, you will:
- Provide first-line IT support to colleagues across the business.
- Log, monitor and help resolve IT support requests.
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, printing and connectivity issues.
- Support the setup and deployment of laptops, desktops, mobile devices and printers.
- Assist with user account management and new starter setup.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Help maintain IT asset registers, software licences and support documentation.
- Contribute to the creation of user guides, knowledge base articles and IT procedures.
- Support routine cybersecurity, patching and backup activities.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining network and infrastructure services.
- Support business applications including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Participate in IT improvement projects and testing activities.
- Attend apprenticeship training sessions and complete all required coursework.
Training
You will receive:
- Structured workplace coaching and mentoring.
- Dedicated apprenticeship training.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Exposure to networking, cybersecurity and infrastructure systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power Platform.
- Development of customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preparation for End Point Assessment and completion of an industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification.
This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to develop valuable IT skills within a global manufacturing organisation. Upon successful completion, there may be opportunities to progress into a permanent IT Support or Infrastructure role within the business.
