We are supporting a high-impact programme within a secure government environment focused on scaling AI and data-driven capability - and are looking for engineers to play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and security of AI-generated solutions.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI, engineering and assurance, supporting teams building large-scale applications powered by LLMs and modern data platforms.
The Role
As AI adoption accelerates, a key challenge is ensuring that code and solutions generated through AI tooling are robust, secure and production-ready.
In this role, you will act as part of an engineering assurance layer, responsible for reviewing, validating and refining AI-generated outputs before they are deployed.
You will work closely with DevOps, engineering and AI teams to ensure solutions meet the required standards for performance, scalability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate code generated through AI/LLM tools
- Identify issues relating to performance, scalability, security and maintainability
- Refactor and improve AI-generated code where required
- Support testing and validation of applications prior to production deployment
- Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to embed best practice
- Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps processes where appropriate
What We're Looking For
Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in environments where quality, validation and reliability are critical.
Key skills may include:
AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation Testing
Ideal Backgrounds
- DevOps/Platform Engineers with a strong quality mindset
- Automation QA Engineers with coding experience
- Software Engineers comfortable reviewing and refactoring code
- Engineers with exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, LLMs etc.)
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with AI/Machine Learning environments
- Exposure to data platforms or large-scale systems
- Background in secure or government environments
Requirements
- Active SC or DV Clearance (essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving delivery environment
