D365 F&O Communications Manager

Job Title: Communications Manager (D365 F&O Implementation)
Contract Type: Initial 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35)
Location: Primarily Remote (Occasional Travel - Expenses Covered)

We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to support a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) implementation. This role will be instrumental in driving clear, consistent, and engaging communication across stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery and user adoption.

Working closely with programme leadership, change management, and technical teams, you will design and deliver a structured communications strategy aligned to key project milestones.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for the D365 F&O implementation
  • Create and manage high-quality communication materials (eg newsletters, updates, presentations, FAQs, Intranet content)
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistent messaging across the programme
  • Support change management and user adoption initiatives through targeted communications
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, business-friendly messaging
  • Manage communication schedules aligned to project phases and key milestones
  • Coordinate communication activities across multiple workstreams and geographies
  • Monitor effectiveness of communications and adapt strategies based on feedback and engagement metrics
  • Support town halls, workshops, and key programme events (virtual and in-person)
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Communications Manager within large-scale transformation or ERP programmes
  • Strong experience working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) implementations
  • Demonstrated ability to support organisational change and user adoption initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in complex, multi-workstream environments
  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms (eg SharePoint, Teams, Intranet platforms)
  • Experience working in global or multi-region implementations
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks (eg Prosci, ADKAR)
