- £95k + 25% Bonus - Total comp = £120k
A high‐growth UK FMCG brand is shifting from traditional reporting to AI‐driven decision making and is hiring its first senior hire in this space to focus on Agentic AI.
This is a greenfield role focused on building solid data foundations and then developing agentic AI solutions that help commercial, and sales teams get answers quickly, not spend time buried in dashboards.
In this role you will have real autonomy to shape the AI roadmap, operating in a household brand but within a fast-moving division that almost has that start-up feel to it.
What you’ll be doing
- Build AI‐ready data foundations including semantic layers, pipelines and Snowflake models
- Design and deploy agentic AI use cases across insights, sales and performance
- Translate commercial problems from key stakeholders into technical solutions with clear business impact
- Manage and develop a junior data scientist
- Act as a bridge between commercial teams, IT and central data science
What they’re looking for
- Strong hands‐on background in data engineering or data science (Python, SQL, cloud data platforms, Snowflake - not essential)
- Strong understanding of agentic AI, LLMs and RAG
- Comfortable coding and building yourself, not just delegating
- Commercially minded and able to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
