Application Support Analyst

Application Support Specialist – London (4 days per week in the office) – £35,000 to £40,000

Please note: This position does not offer sponsorship. Applicants must have full legal eligibility to work in the UK and be able to commute to the office 4 days per week.

La Fosse is collaborating with a London-based client to recruit an Application Support Specialist within a well-established organisation.

The successful candidate will support the smooth operation and performance of critical digital platforms, including marketing automation, CMS, websites, and analytics tools, working closely with marketing teams to help deliver efficient, data-driven campaigns. This role would suit someone early in their career who is looking to develop their technical and application support experience within a supportive environment.

Key requirements:

  • Experience using Jira Service Desk or similar IT/service management platforms (commercial or academic experience considered).
  • Ability to monitor and manage service requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of SLA adherence and response time management.

Technical skills:

  • Basic SQL querying skills to support and compare marketing platform data against databases.
  • Exposure to APIs and system integrations (practical experience or strong foundational understanding).
  • Basic development knowledge (ideally JavaScript).
  • Python knowledge is a plus but not essential; training can be provided.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support the smooth operation of integrated platforms.
