Automation Test Lead

Automation Test Lead - £409 outside IR35 - Hybrid (London 3 days outside IR35)

Please note: This is a 6 month contract position. Candidates will be expected to go into the office 3 days per week

La Fosse have partnered with a business undergoing a large-scale transformation to hire a Automation Test Lead to own end-to-end testing across a complex, multi-system programme.

Key responsibilities:

• Strong experience working with Java and/or Kotlin in a testing/automation environment
• Define and drive the overall testing strategy across the programme
• Establish QA governance, standards, and best practices
• Lead and coordinate 3–4 offshore QA engineers
• Champion an automation-first approach, embedding testing into CI/CD
• Align testing across multiple teams, managing dependencies and risk
• Provide clear reporting on quality, progress, and delivery readiness
