Cyber Detection Engineering Manager

I’m working with a leading global organisation looking for a Detection Engineering (DEA) Manager to lead a high performing team across a global remit. This is a technical role for someone who has come up through hands on engineering and now wants to drive capability, uplift standards, and shape the future of detection across an evolving security landscape.

What to expect in the role :

• Strong technical background in Security solutions, Detection Engineering, SIEM, SOAR, security tooling etc.
• Experience onboarding logs, tuning detections, and understanding how a SIEM works.
• Understanding of cloud and network security fundamentals.
• Ability to lead a high performing engineering team.
• Strong process mindset with the ability to uplift standards and mature engineering practices.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
• Exposure to ServiceNow, threat intel tooling, and Microsoft security stack (Sentinel, Defender) ideal.

Key Details:

• Salary : up to £105,000
• Location: South East (3x a week)
• Bonus
