We've partnered with a large, international organisation who are strengthening their data and AI capabilities to drive growth, performance, and innovation across a highly decentralised global footprint. The role sits at group level, shaping how data and AI are designed, governed, and scaled across the business. This is both a strategic & hands-on role.
As Data & AI Architect, you will provide technical leadership across enterprise data platforms and AI solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned to business strategy. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to translate business needs into robust, reusable architectures and guide solutions from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of enterprise data and AI architecture
- Define standards, frameworks, and best practices for scalable solutions
- Architect platforms integrating structured and unstructured data
- Enable advanced analytics and AI use cases across the organisation
- Champion data governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and clear architectural documentation
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, AI Architect, or Analytics Architect in a complex environment, ideally within an Enterprise organisation
- Strong background in data architecture, modelling, and modern data platforms
- Solid understanding of AI / ML concepts and lifecycle management
- Experience with cloud-based data and AI solutions (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP)
- Hands-on exposure to technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, SQL/NoSQL
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
