Data Delivery Manager

£75,000 – £80,000

12-month FTC (strong likelihood of extension)

The Role

We are partnered exclusively with a leading strategy and transformation organisation that is undergoing a major modernisation of its data estate, covering both:

  • Client-facing data platforms managing millions of structured data points
  • Internal reporting and analytics across commercial and operational functions

This role is key in driving execution against the current roadmap. The architecture and direction are already defined. So your main role as the Data Delivery Manager, will be to take ownership of a high-profile, board-priority programme and bring structure, pace and clarity to a complex delivery environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the delivery of large-scale data transformation initiatives
  • Managing multiple concurrent workstreams and dependencies
  • Implementing delivery governance and project structure
  • Removing blockers and resolving delivery risks
  • Aligning technical teams and senior stakeholders
  • Owning reporting, communication and progress tracking
  • Ensuring quality, pace and accountability across all streams

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering data platform, reporting or analytics transformation programmes
  • Strong background in project or programme delivery within complex technical environments
  • Ability to operate across Agile, hybrid and structured delivery models pragmatically
  • Confident communicator who can translate technical delivery into business value
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure, high-visibility environments

Desirable Experience

  • Data hub or data warehouse modernisation
  • BI / reporting transformation programmes
  • Migration from legacy platforms to modern data infrastructure
  • Azure / Azure DevOps environments
  • Experience working within consultancy or matrix organisations
