Data Project Manager - £70,000 - London (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

A leading events and exhibitions business is seeking an experienced Data Project Manager to support a major transformation programme focused on using data and technology to enhance customer outcomes and business performance.

This role will lead the delivery of key projects across the organisation, ensuring initiatives are well-planned, effectively executed, and deliver measurable value. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across business, technology, and third-party partners to drive projects from initiation through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver projects using a hybrid approach, combining Agile and traditional methodologies.
• Define and manage project scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Maintain project documentation including roadmaps, RAID logs, sprint plans, and status reports.
• Monitor project progress, managing risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies where appropriate and promote collaborative, iterative delivery.
• Support change management and stakeholder communication to ensure successful adoption of solutions.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional projects, ideally within data, analytics, or digital transformation environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
• Project management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or ScrumMaster) are desirable.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Power BI or Salesforce is a plus.
