About the Opportunity
We're working with a global telecommunications business undergoing a major cybersecurity transformation. This is a unique opportunity for someone to join as an Emerging Technology Security Advisor acting as an independent authority on security for next-generation technologies.
You'll provide strategic guidance and assurance across cutting-edge domains such as AI/Agentic AI, Quantum-safe systems, Blockchain/DLT, Decentralized Identity, Edge Computing, IoT, and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs). This role is about influence and thought leadership—ideal for someone with strong architectural expertise and the ability to represent complex topics to senior stakeholders and industry forums.
What You'll Do
- Act as the security advisor for all emerging technologies.
- Define and maintain security strategies, policies, and standards for advanced tech domains.
- Deliver design assurance and risk sign-off for major initiatives.
- Represent the organisation in industry discussions and public forums on emerging tech security.
