Business Relationship Manager / Technology Business Partner

£450-£500 per day | Inside IR35

Primarily Remote | Commutable Distance to Salford Preferred

We are looking for an experienced Business Relationship Manager (BRM) / Technology Business Partner to join a high-performing technology function supporting major business bids and strategic growth initiatives.

Working closely with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, and Information Security teams, you will act as the bridge between technology and the business, helping shape winning solutions for large-scale public sector, healthcare, and government opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic technology partner to business stakeholders.
  • Support complex bids and mobilisation activities across Government, Justice, Healthcare and Facilities Management sectors.
  • Gather, challenge and define business requirements with senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate technical SMEs to develop solution designs aligned to client requirements.
  • Build and present technology cost models and technology components of bid responses.
  • Work closely with Information Security, Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture teams.
  • Ensure key considerations such as data residency, security and compliance requirements are incorporated into solutions.
  • Facilitate technology governance and ensure alignment with wider technology strategy.
  • Translate technical solutions into business-focused outcomes for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support technology roadmaps, business planning activities and strategic initiatives.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in a Business Relationship Manager, Technology Business Partner, Technology Consultant or similar stakeholder-facing role.
  • Strong experience supporting bids, tenders, proposals or pre-sales activities.
  • Experience working on public sector, government, healthcare or regulated industry opportunities.
  • Ability to gather and prioritise complex business requirements.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience building solution costs and business cases.
  • Good understanding of Information Security, data residency and technology governance principles.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and executive-level audiences.
  • Ability to operate strategically while coordinating delivery across multiple technical teams.

Desirable

  • Experience within facilities management, food services, government or healthcare sectors.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement and bid processes.
  • ITIL, PRINCE2, MSP or similar certifications.
  • Eligibility for SC Clearance.
