UK IT Operations Lead

London - Hybrid (4-5 days onsite)

£70,000–£80,000 + bonus + benefits

We’re supporting the launch of an exciting PE-backed, tech-enabled professional services business as they build out their UK operation from the ground up.

Backed by a well-established European professional services group with over 25 years of success, the UK business launched last year and is scaling rapidly, growing from a founding team with plans to reach 300+ shortly after.

This is a unique opportunity to become the first dedicated UK IT hire and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s technology operations during a high-growth phase.

You’ll work closely with leadership in both the UK and Europe to deliver a seamless technology experience for employees while helping establish scalable IT operations, processes, and infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing the day-to-day UK IT operations environment

• Owning onboarding/offboarding and user management across M365 & Azure

• Supporting meeting rooms, office tech, laptops, and end-user hardware

• Managing SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Intune, and Entra ID administration

• Acting as the go-to IT contact for the UK business

• Supporting basic InfoSec and cyber hygiene processes

• Working closely with the German Group IT function within a shared Azure tenant

• Helping introduce and roll out new tooling, including AI platforms and automation tools

• Building scalable IT processes as the company continues to grow

What they’re looking for:

• Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure administration experience

• Experience supporting users in a fast-paced, growing environment

• Confidence across IT operations, device management, onboarding/JML, and end-user support

• Someone hands-on, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats

• Startup, scale-up, or high-growth experience would be highly beneficial

• Strong communication skills and a pragmatic mindset
