📣🚨 Interim Head of Security Architecture – Inside IR35 – Remote – £850 - £1,100 p/d 🚨📣

We’re looking for a Interim Head of Security Architecture to step into a complex, evolving environment and bring structure, clarity and technical leadership across security architecture.

This is a high-impact role working closely with senior stakeholders to help stabilise a fragmented landscape, introduce best practice over time and support the organisation on its security maturity journey.

This would also be ideal for a seasoned security leader who has operated as a CISO but but has strong technical depth.

🔧 What you’ll be doing

• Assess and navigate an existing security architecture landscape within a complex, legacy environment
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide direction and expertise across security architecture
• Introduce and evolve architecture patterns, standards and best practice over time
• Influence stakeholders across a federated organisation to drive consistency and improved security outcomes
• Support prioritisation of business demand and help bring structure to security-related delivery
• Provide technical oversight across security architecture, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements
• Act as a credible, senior voice across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Operate in a highly collaborative way, guiding and educating rather than dictating change

📄 Role Details:

⏳ 6 month initial contract

⏱ Start date: ASAP

🏢 Remote – with occasional on-site workshops

📃 Inside IR35

💸 Day rate: £850 - £1,100 p/d
