Salary: £80,000 - £90,000

Location: London - Hybrid - 3 days a week in office

We're partnering with a leading international digital media organisation undergoing a significant expansion of its multimedia and content production capabilities.

As audience behaviours continue to evolve, the organisation is investing in new forms of content across its digital platforms. This includes expansion, new media initiatives and the development of new multimedia experiences for millions of users globally.

As a result, we're seeking an experienced Multimedia Technology Product Manager to own the technology roadmap, operational performance and ongoing evolution of the organisation's multimedia technology ecosystem.

The Opportunity

This is a unique role sitting at the intersection of product management, media technology and content operations.

Working closely with architects, engineering teams, multimedia specialists and editorial stakeholders, you'll help shape the future of how multimedia content is created, managed and delivered at scale.

You'll balance strategic technology planning with operational excellence, ensuring platforms remain reliable, scalable and capable of supporting future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical roadmap for multimedia platforms and services.
  • Drive platform stability, performance and operational excellence.
  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams on future technology investment and strategy.
  • Manage prioritisation of upgrades, enhancements and platform improvements.
  • Lead multimedia technology backlogs and delivery planning.
  • Oversee platform performance, capacity planning and service health.
  • Translate operational requirements into actionable technical delivery plans.
  • Manage and support multimedia technology and operational teams.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex production and platform issues.
  • Collaborate with content, editorial and business stakeholders to understand evolving requirements.

About You

You'll likely come from a media, broadcasting, streaming or content technology background and understand the challenges involved in delivering multimedia content at scale.

Experience in one or more of the following would be highly beneficial:

  • Broadcasting
  • Streaming platforms
  • Digital publishing
  • Podcasting
  • Video production environments
  • Media technology organisations

You'll bring experience of:

  • Multimedia content workflows
  • Media Asset Management (MAM) platforms
  • Video and audio delivery ecosystems
  • Content production technology
  • Studio environments
  • Technical product management
  • Platform ownership and operational management

Most importantly, you'll be able to bridge the gap between technical teams, content creators and business stakeholders.
