Interim IT Programme Manager – Carve-Out / Separation (Buyer Side, PE-Backed)

Location: London / Hybrid - 2-3 days a week

Rate: £800–£900 per day

Duration: 6 months

We’re supporting a private equity-backed acquisition and looking for an experienced IT Programme Manager to lead the technology carve-out on the buyer side, standing up a new standalone IT environment as the business separates from its parent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the buyer-side IT separation programme through to full TSA exit
• Stand up greenfield infrastructure, networks, identity and end-user environment
• Manage migrations across M365, Active Directory, cloud and core applications
• Deliver Day 1 and 100-day readiness for the standalone business
• Coordinate vendors, MSPs and technical workstreams across infrastructure, cloud and security
• Provide clear programme governance and SteerCo reporting

Experience Required

• Proven delivery of IT carve-outs / divestments
• Experience working on the buyer side of separations
• Strong background across infrastructure, networks, M365, AD and cloud environments
• Experience operating in private equity-backed businesses
• Comfortable delivering under tight deal timelines

Ideal for a programme leader who has stood up standalone IT environments during PE-backed carve-outs and can drive a clean separation at pace.
