We've partnered with a leading organisation who is seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and deliver scalable, reliable data solutions aligned to business needs. This role will focus on building and evolving a modern data platform across ingestion, transformation, storage, and orchestration layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion frameworks and ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and real-time)
• Develop and optimise lakehouse and data warehouse architectures
• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Establish data quality, observability, and schema management frameworks
• Drive performance, cost optimisation, and operational efficiency
• Ensure alignment with data governance, security, and compliance standards

Experience & Skills

• Strong background in enterprise data architecture and solution design
• Experience delivering production-grade data platforms in Azure (Data Factory, Fabric, Spark)
• Knowledge of Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Advanced SQL and Python
• Experience with data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) and semantic layers
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks
• Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
