Senior Data Scientist – Marketing

• London based - 2 days per week in the office

I’m hiring again for one of La Fosse’s best customers within the entertainment industry. This role is for a rapidly growing team that has secured new investment to scale its data science capabilities.

They are looking for a hands‐on Senior Data Scientist to help shape the future of marketing analytics, personalisation, and modelling.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and advanced marketing analytics.
• Build end‐to‐end models powering email marketing, recommendations, and website personalisation.
• Work closely with commercial and marketing teams to turn data into action.
• Collaborate within a supportive, expanding data function (team growing from 6 to 11).
• Line manage 1 direct report (line management experience not required).

What I’m Looking For

• Strong hands‐on experience in data science and production‐grade modelling.
• Knowledge of MMM (highly desirable).
• Background in marketing analytics, B2C, or live entertainment a plus.
• Technical stack: Python, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, DBT.
• Someone commercially aware, curious, and confident in driving insight.
