Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - £500 per day inside IR35 - Remote - Java

La Fosse have partnered with a consultancy to recruit a Senior QA Engineer.This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, data platforms, and automation, where your work directly impacts the reliability of services and the trustworthiness of data used across the business.

You’ll partner with engineers and product teams to challenge designs, strengthen data integrity, and ensure our platforms perform reliably at scale.

Key requirements:

• Strong experience automating tests within microservices and distributed systems
• Hands-on background building automation frameworks using Java or similar languages
• Confidence testing REST APIs, backend services, and service-to-service interactions
• Proven experience testing data engineering workloads, including ETL/ELT pipelines and batch processing
• Advanced SQL skills for validating and analysing large datasets
• Experience working with data warehouses or big data technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Spark)
