Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Southampton or Sutton (Hybrid 2 days on-site)

500-550 a day | 6-month contract (extension likely) | Start ASAP

Were looking for an SRE to help us keep systems fast, reliable, and scalable. Youll join a collaborative team that thrives on automation, innovation, and rock-solid infrastructure.

What Youll Do

• Build and run high-performance, cloud-based environments (AWS)
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
• Implement top-tier monitoring, CI/CD, and IaC best practices
• Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement

What You Bring

• Deep Linux know-how
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
• AWS expertise (VPC, RDS, EC2, ECS/EKS)
• IaC mastery (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Containerisation (Docker) + CI/CD experience
• Obsessed with automation, reliability & monitoring

• Agile experience
• Security awareness & best practices
• Clear communicator (tech non-tech)
