Software Developer in Test (SDET)
Senior SDET - £675-£720pd (Inside IR35) - 2 yr programme (6 mth) - Hybrid/3 days pw London
***Please note financial services/regulated industry experience is essential to be considered/this role requires 3 days per week onsite in London (unfortunately non negotiable) ***
A financial services client based in London are looking for a Senior SDET to work within their asset management team.
This is a hands-on contract role focused on building and enhancing automated test frameworks, improving test coverage, integrations and advising on best practice.
Whilst the client stack is C#/Typescript - if you have not been working with Microsoft stack, please don't be discouraged from replying. Typescript/Playwright experience alone will also be considered.
This is a great opportunity to work secure a long term contract at a great rate, with a renowned brand in the FS sector.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience working as an SDET
- Creating test automation frameworks with C# (Ideal but not essential) or TypeScript and Playwright
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (azure DevOps nice to have)
- Strong API testing experience (and ideally automating API's)
- Experience with SQL querying
- Previous experience within financial services (asset management highly desirable)
- WPF experience is a nice to have
- Any ETL and Data Warehousing testing experience nice to have
- Firm understanding of agile software engineering practices (I.e 3 amigos)
2 stage process - 1st: 1 hour intro/CV review and technical chat
2nd: 1 hour technical/automation exercise
