Salary: £70,000 – £76,000 base + bonus
About the Opportunity
We're working with a global technology business undergoing a major cybersecurity transformation. This is an exciting opportunity for a Telco Security Specialist to provide expert security guidance and assurance across complex telecommunications and mobile network environments.
This role is ideal for someone with a telco background interesting in a varied role incorporating engineering and architecture. You'll combine practical experience with strong theoretical knowledge to shape secure network designs and standards.
What You'll Do
- Act as a the SME/ advisor for telecom and mobile network security architecture.
- Define and maintain security standards and design patterns for access, core, and mobile networks.
- Review network security designs and configurations, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
- Ensure compliance with telecom security regulations and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in telecommunications security (access, core, mobile networks).
- Hands-on experience with network security controls and architecture.
- Knowledge of DDoS mitigation, MPLS, BGP, and control plane security.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical teams.
