Test Lead

QA Lead - £55,000 - Permanent - Remote (occasional travel to office in Kidderminster )

La Fosse have partnered with a media client to hire a QA Lead to shape and drive quality across multiple product teams. You will be responsible for defining test strategy, building scalable automation frameworks (with a strong JavaScript/Cypress focus), and embedding modern Quality Engineering practices across delivery.

Key requirements:

• Strong experience in Quality Engineering at Lead/Principal level
• Proven background in JavaScript-based test automation (Cypress essential)
• Experience across UI, API, and integration testing
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and automated quality gates
• Deep knowledge of risk-based testing and QE principles
• Experience with non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility)
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed architectures
• Comfortable driving adoption of new tooling, including AI in testing
• Proven ability to influence teams and embed a quality-first culture
