Clinical Systems Support Team Leader
Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Digital Services Department for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual for the post of Clinical Systems Configuration Team Leader to join our Digital Directorate at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
The role will involve managing a team of Clinical Systems Analysts & Advanced RA Agent. They will oversee the configuration, implementation and maintenance of clinical systems used by the Trust.
Main duties of the job
This post will be responsible for supervising and working alongside a team of staff providing system configuration requirements of the core EPR applications or other clinical information systems. The post holder will be required to act as deputy for the Clinical Systems Support Manager and take responsibility for the line management of the team of Clinical Systems Analysts and Registration Authority Team.
In addition to providing direct line management, the post holder will play a significant role in the delivery of Digital Projects as well as maintaining a high quality BAU service. This role involves managing configuration items, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Person Specification
Education / Qualifications
- Degree plus post graduate equivalent in relevant subject.
- Evidence of continuous professional and personal development
Knowledge
- Demonstrable understanding of leadership principles
- Excellent understanding of system configuration, design, build development & test.
- Specialist knowledge and understanding of clinical systems.
Experience
- Demonstrable experience in developing various solutions on patient based information systems.
- Proven experience of working within an NHS Digital function/role.
- Experience/involvement in implementation of Digital Projects.
