AI Solution Engineer/Architect (GenAI & Cloud)

We are partnered with a leading global consulting firm as they look to grow their AI technology & innovation unit. We’re looking for experienced AI Solution Architects / Engineers to design, prototype, and deliver cutting-edge AI solutions that solve real business problems.

This role sits across the full solution lifecycle from shaping early-stage ideas and rapidly building prototypes, through to architecting scalable, production-ready AI systems. You’ll work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams to turn concepts into impactful, real-world solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Work with stakeholders to identify and shape AI-driven use cases aligned to business goals
• Design and build rapid prototypes (24–48 hours) to demonstrate solution value
• Translate prototypes into scalable, secure, production-ready architectures
• Define end-to-end AI solution architecture across data, models, and cloud platforms
• Select appropriate models (LLMs / SLMs) based on use case, performance, and cost
• Collaborate across engineering, data, and business teams to deliver solutions
• Present and communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support early-stage engagements as well as full lifecycle delivery

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience designing and/or building AI / ML solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs (selection, fine-tuning, deployment)
• Experience with at least two of the following platforms:
• AWS (Bedrock / SageMaker)
• Azure (Azure ML / OpenAI)
• Google Cloud (Vertex AI)
• OpenAI APIs
• Solid understanding of machine learning, data engineering, and big data concepts
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures and scalable systems
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions
• Understanding of security, governance, and cost optimisation (FinOps)
