Senior AI Engineer

We are currently partnered with a Google Cloud strategic partner as they look to hire a Senior AI Engineer to design and deliver advanced AI and agent-based solutions for enterprise clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing Google Cloud strategic partner delivering cutting-edge AI solutions.

This role focuses on building production-grade AI systems, translating business requirements into scalable and secure solutions using LLMs, retrieval techniques and orchestration frameworks. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver AI capabilities that drive measurable business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop advanced AI and agent-based architectures
  • Build production-ready solutions using Large Language Models and retrieval techniques
  • Develop and maintain model training, fine-tuning and RAG pipelines
  • Implement scalable AI solutions within the Google Cloud environment
  • Define performance and evaluation metrics for AI systems
  • Implement guardrails and controls to ensure safe and reliable outputs
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver AI solutions
  • Support best practices across AI engineering and cloud delivery
  • Contribute technical expertise to complex AI engagements

Key Experience Required

  • Strong experience building production AI solutions using LLMs or agent-based architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud AI and data services
  • Experience with tools such as Vertex AI and BigQuery
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience designing retrieval and embedding-based solutions
  • Experience building RAG pipelines or semantic search solutions
  • Understanding of MLOps practices and model lifecycle management
  • Strong software engineering and solution design skills
