LCP is an award-winning actuarial and analytics consultancy providing market-leading capabilities and advice across pensions and financial services, energy, health, and analytics. We use powerful analytics fused with human expertise to shape a more positive future.

We have an exciting, newly created role within LCP's Information Security team, part of the Risk & Compliance department, to support the continued growth of the firm's security, governance and assurance activities. Reporting to The Information Security Lead, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the function, helping to co-ordinate audits and security assessments, manage actions and evidence, maintain key registers and documentation, support client and supplier assurance activities, and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual looking to build a career in information security, risk, compliance or governance within a well-established and growing professional services firm.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing structured administrative, co-ordination and reporting support across Information Security and related risk management operations
  • Helping maintain Information Security Management System documentation, registers and evidence to support ongoing certification and assurance activity
  • Tracking policy, process and quality management review dates, helping owners keep records accurate and up to date
  • Acting as a first point of contact for standard Information Security queries, using approved wording, templates and agreed escalation routes
  • Maintaining repositories of client assurance questions and responses so recurring queries can be answered consistently and efficiently
  • Help co-ordinate external audits, penetration testing and other security assessments, including evidence requests, meeting logistics, action tracking and follow up
  • Tracking actions arising from internal findings, external findings, meetings and day-to-day discussions, ensuring relevant registers remain accurate and current
  • Supporting third party security assessments by gathering evidence, tracking responses and maintaining clear records
  • Drafting concise summary reports and updates for key stakeholders, committees and working groups
  • Supporting the development of templates, checklists and repeatable processes that make Information Security activity easier to manage and evidencing
  • Distribute relevant threat intelligence and security updates to appropriate audiences using agreed channels and approved messaging

What skills and qualities are we looking for?

  • Some experience in a related field, such as information security, data protection, audit, risk, compliance or governance
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing actions, dates, evidence requests, follow ups and registers
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • A practical, support-focused approach with colleagues across the business.
  • A keen interest in information security, data protection, audit, risk or governance.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook (experience with Power Apps or Power BI would be helpful but is not required)
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and escalate where needed
