RF Engineer | Network systems | Paignton | Onsite | Upto £65,000

We are seeking an RF engineer with a strong background in RF/microwave engineering and high-speed electronics to join our client developing next-generation electronic and photonic systems.

This is a great opportunity for an RF engineer with 2+ years of experience with RF and high-speed electronics wanting to work with next-generation networking technology.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed RF and electronic hardware.
• Develop and validate electromagnetic simulation models.
• Execute and analyse advanced RF measurements and testing.
• Support system integration, prototyping, and performance optimisation.
• Create software tools for modelling, automation, and data analysis.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to solve complex technical challenges
• Communicate results through clear technical documentation and presentations.

Skills:

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Applied Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with high-speed RF circuits, high-speed electronics, or similar systems.
• Experience using electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS and CST.
• Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment and test methodologies.
• Programming experience using Python, MATLAB, or similar scientific computing environments
