EMEA Commercial Counsel

Our client is a trusted global innovator in IT and business services operating in over 50 counteries. They offer consulting, industry solutions, IT modernization and management services to clients wroldwide. We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across a wide range of commercial matters. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in client and vendor contracting, sales and change orders, and technology-related agreements. This role involves working independently on complex legal issues, with oversight from senior legal leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely legal advice to internal departments regarding contractual obligations and commitments.
• Advise management on complex legal matters, clearly communicating risks and recommendations across regulatory, compliance, financial, and contractual areas.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including MSAs (client and vendor), commercial lease documents, sales and change orders, and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate professionally with vendors, clients, internal departments, and global corporate affiliates.

Qualifications & Requirements

• LLB or equivalent Bachelor of Law degree.
• Several years of relevant legal experience, including a mix of law firm and in-house counsel roles (minimum two years in-house).
• Experience in the data center or technology industry is a plus.
• Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and commercial terms.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global legal team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent proofreading skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Full professional fluency in German and English is required.
