Digital Technical Architect Lead

Role: Technical Architect

Rate: £775 - £800 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Leeds or Blackpool / hybrid

Contract Length: Dec 2026 (initially)

About the role:

Senior Technical Architect with strong experience leading the design, delivery, and assurance of technical architecture across complex programmes and product-led environments. Works closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable IT products aligned to enterprise architecture principles.

Key experience:

• Strong practitioner in architecture and design methods, including ArchiMate and UML
• Extensive experience in Agile and DevOps delivery, including CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices
• Deep knowledge of microservices and API-led architectures, alongside legacy and hybrid integration approaches
• Hands-on experience across major cloud platforms, including AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Strong background in SaaS, PaaS, Serverless, and IaaS deployment models
• Expertise in identity, authentication, authorisation, and SSO architectures
