Google Cloud Platform Engineer

A global software service provider is looking to expand their teams in Manchester. Our client is currently looking for a passionate GCP Platform engineer with an interest in Cloud technologies to realize their own vision on how GCP services should be made, this is about bringing unique ideas to the table, not working to a specification.

There is no better time for an ambitious GCP engineer to join a company which leads digital transformations for clients by modernizing and integrating their mainstream IT, and by deploying digital solutions at scale to produce better business outcomes.

The successful applicant will develop the newest generation of their internal risk modelling system built on GCP using next gen services and a cloud native architecture for high performance distributed computing.

Requirements

· Proven hands-on experience within Google Cloud platform is a must

· A strong experience in DevOps

· Familiarity within orchestration and containerization i.e. Docker and Kubernetes

· Experience within CI/CD practices is crucial

· Must have right to work in the UK

Salary & Package: up to £55,000 per year + variety of other benefits

Location: Manchester
