Up to £135,000 + bonus

A multinational tech/digital business are recruiting for a Head of Privacy/DPO to lead the ongoing development of their global data protection strategy. Operating in over 100 regions, this is truly global opportunity and will require someone with international/global privacy experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead & develop the global privacy framework in-line with various global privacy regulations, e.g. GDPR, CCPA etc.
- Act as the firm's DPO, liaising with regulatory authorities on queries and investigations
- Embed privacy by design by partnering with Product & Engineering teams
- Draft & negotiate privacy aspects of contracts
- Manage DPIAs, ROPAs, data-mapping, vendor assessments etc.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer - 6+ years PQE
- Extensive experience & knowledge of global privacy regulations
- Experience in a tech/data-driven business, ideally product led
- Prior experience in private practice at an international law firm is preferable
