Salary: £130,000 + 20-30% bonus

A strong, well-respected and innovative Law Practice are seeking a Security Architecture Lead to strengthen the security design of its growing technology estate and ensure robust protection of sensitive client and case data. The role will champion modern security patterns, uplift technical controls, and guide teams toward secure, resilient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the firm's security architecture roadmap.
• Lead design of secure integrations across case management, collaboration, and cloud services.
• Review major technology initiatives and provide architectural approval.
• Drive adoption of modern identity, endpoint, and network security patterns.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure external solutions meet firm standards.
• Provide expert input into audit responses, client assurance, and certification efforts.

Requirements

• Experience leading security architecture in complex, multi-vendor environments.
• Strong understanding of data protection, access governance, and secure service design.
• Ability to translate risks into practical design guidance for engineers and project teams.
• Familiarity with legal-sector technology (DMS, eDiscovery, collaboration platforms)
• Deep understanding of matter confidentiality, ethical walls, and client-mandated security controls.
• Strong communication skills and confidence advising senior stakeholders.
