Data Architect - Oracle Fusion HR - SFIA 6

Overview
We are seeking an Oracle Fusion HR Data Architect (SFIA 6) to support a complex Oracle Fusion delivery programme for a Public Sector Client. You will bring deep expertise in migrating HR data into Oracle Fusion, shaping the migration approach and providing client-side assurance over the designs and deliverables produced by programme suppliers. Operating in a multi-supplier environment, you will consult independently with senior stakeholders, drive issues to resolution and manage data risks across the programme. Success looks like an HR data migration that is well-designed, well-governed and demonstrably fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the HR data architecture for the Oracle Fusion delivery, covering source analysis, data models, mapping and migration approach.
  • Assure the migration of HR data into Oracle Fusion, including extraction, cleansing, transformation, load and reconciliation.
  • Provide client-side assurance over supplier data designs and deliverables, evidencing fitness for purpose.
  • Consult independently with senior stakeholders, translating technical positions into clear options and recommendations.
  • Identify and drive resolution of data issues, managing data risks with clear, proportionate mitigation.
  • Collaborate across a multi-supplier environment to deliver programme objectives to time and quality.
  • Advise on data quality, reconciliation, cutover and fallback planning for HR data.

Essential Skills

  • Strong commercial experience as a Data Architect at SFIA Level 6 on complex ERP or HCM delivery programmes.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM data structures and the migration of HR data into Oracle Fusion, including Oracle's load mechanisms (HDL/FBDI).
  • Proven experience migrating HR data from Legacy systems, including cleansing and reconciliation.
  • Experience providing client-side assurance services over supplier-delivered work.
  • Demonstrable ability to operate independently with senior stakeholders, identifying resolutions and managing risk.
  • Experience delivering within multi-supplier environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience within the UK Public Sector.

  • Oracle Fusion Payroll or Finance data experience.
  • Exposure to shared services operating models.
  • Relevant Oracle certification.
  • Central Government programme exposure.
  • Experience leading or mentoring data migration teams.
