Business Analyst (FQDN)
Role title: Business Analyst – 2 roles
Location: UK
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to assist in the remediation of our UK fully qualified domain names (FQDNs). This role will be critical driving the execution of remediation to align with FQDN controls, as appropriate.
Key responsibilities include:
· Support programme governance, including leadership reporting, stakeholder management, and progress tracking.
· Support the design of overarching strategy to guide business decisions related to the creation, maintenance and demising of current or future FQDNs
· Support the design of appropriate controls for live FQDNs, taking into account regulatory compliance, security requirements, technical setup, branding and content management
· Analyse existing FQDN inventory against the above strategy and controls, and define remediation steps as appropriate
· Coordinate with business owners and IT teams to execute remediation steps as appropriate
Required experience and skills:
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst on IT infrastructure programmes within large, regulated environments (finances services preferably)
· Good understanding of DNS, FQDN structure, and associated remediation challenges
· Experience liaising with technical delivery teams
· Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to problem solving
· Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into business impacts
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements
