Senior Business Analyst - Alternatives / Private Markets

For our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of services for clients operating in the alternatives space. This position is open to candidates within commuting distance of our offices in Amsterdam and London, as well as those willing to relocate.

Have you got the skills?
You have completed a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g. Economics, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar).
In addition, you bring:
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
- Ability to understand and document complex business processes and data flows
- Solid experience working within Alternative Investments / Private Equity / Venture Capital / Real Assets environments
- Experience with investment management platforms such as eFront, Allvue, Dynamo, Intapp DealCloud, or similar best‐in‐class systems
- Strong requirements‐gathering and documentation skills (functional and non‐functional)
- Ability to work confidently with stakeholders at different seniority levels
- A desire to learn more about the system landscape for alternative investments / private markets
- Structured way of working and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
- Fluent spoken and written English
Have you got the experience?
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of relevant experience, including:
- Business analysis experience within private equity/ alternative investments
- Exposure to Private Equity and/or Venture Capital operating models
- Supporting or leading technology implementations, system upgrades, or process transformation initiatives
- Working with data, reporting, and integration requirements
- Consulting or client‐facing experience in an international environment
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
Most importantly, you are proactive, delivery‐focused, and motivated to make a real impact for clients.

- Lead and facilitate requirements‐gathering workshops
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
- Support solution design and act as a bridge between business and technical teams
- Contribute to software implementations and system configurations
- Oversee and support testing activities and issue resolution
- Support reporting, data validation, and process optimisation
- Engage closely with clients and internal stakeholders
- Coach and support junior consultants and analysts
- Contribute to internal knowledge development and best practices
