Family PA & House Manager - UHNW Private Family
Central London | £55,000-£65,000 DOE
Full-time | Monday - Friday 8am - 3pm

An UHNW private family is seeking an experienced Family PA & House Manager to provide exceptional personal support to the female Principal, alongside overseeing the smooth daily running of their Central London residence.

This is a varied and hands on role suited to a switched on, highly organised and solutions focused individual who enjoys being one step ahead, takes ownership and is confident managing both traditional household requirements and modern technology.

The role will work closely with the Principal and wider household team, including a Chief of Staff, finance manager, part time house assistant and small domestic team.

The Role

  • Full-time, Monday - Friday, with core hours 8am - 3pm, plus flexibility to respond to urgent requests outside these hours
  • Based in Central London three days per week, working remotely two days per week, with flexibility around which days are required on site
  • Working from a dedicated studio/office within the same building as the family residence
  • Providing high level personal and family PA support, including diary and appointment management, travel, events, shopping, gifts and general administration
  • Coordinating medical appointments, school administration and activities for the family
  • Researching and arranging family outings, events and travel
  • Managing flights, transfers, visas and associated travel logistics for the female principal
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the family and household team
  • Taking responsibility for the smooth running of the residence, including appliances, systems, fixtures and fittings
  • Troubleshooting household issues and finding practical solutions wherever possible
  • Managing contractors, suppliers, maintenance visits and annual servicing
  • Liaising with household staff regarding schedules, absence cover, stock and general logistics
  • Overseeing cleaning schedules and larger household projects when the family are travelling
  • Developing and maintaining household manuals, procedures and systems
  • Supporting with staff administration and overtime records
  • Using Google Workspace, WhatsApp, ChatGPT and other technology/AI tools to streamline communication, organisation and problem solving

The successful candidate must have previous experience supporting a UHNW family in a similar
in a similar Family PA/House Manager role in a household.

  • A confident problem solver who will investigate an issue and find a solution rather than simply pass it on
  • Tech savvy and comfortable using G Suite and AI within a professional environment
  • An excellent communicator with a very high level of spoken and written English
  • Emotionally intelligent, discreet and resilient, with the confidence to work closely with a high performing Principal
  • Flexible and responsive, with a willingness to assist outside core hours when required
  • Comfortable working independently while also being a collaborative member of a wider household team
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys being hands on and getting things done

This is an informal family environment, but with exceptionally high expectations around organisation, communication, discretion and standards. The successful candidate will be someone who can think quickly, anticipate needs and confidently take ownership of whatever is required.

Essential: Previous HNW/UHNW private household experience, excellent English, strong communication skills, confidence with technology/AI, enhanced DBS and the ability to commute to Central London within approximately 45 minutes.

Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
