HR Business Partner / M&A Lead
I'm partnering with a fast-scaling, globally connected tech business that's carving out a bold new chapter. They're growing, transforming, and acquiring and they need a confident, commercially sharp HR Business Partner to sit at the heart of it all.
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys being in the room - influencing leadership, shaping people strategy, and rolling up their sleeves when needed. You'll be based in their Mayfair office five days a week, working closely with UK and international leadership teams as the business continues to integrate new acquisitions and build a unified, high-performing culture.
What you'll be doing:
- Acting as a trusted partner to UK and European leaders, providing pragmatic guidance across the full people agenda.
- Leading on M&A activity - due diligence, integration, harmonisation, culture alignment.
- Owning UK ER, performance, onboarding/offboarding, and policy governance.
- Driving people programmes that support scale, structure, and organisational clarity.
- Ensuring UK employment law compliance with a confident, commercial lens.
- Partnering with global HR teams across the US, India, and APAC to deliver aligned initiatives.
- Using data and insight to support decision-making and influence senior stakeholders.
What they're looking for:
- Strong HR generalist/BP experience within fast-paced, evolving environments - 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a business partner or generalist capacity.
- Demonstrable M&A exposure - this is essential.
- Confident handling UK employment law and complex ER with maturity and judgement.
- Someone who thrives onsite, collaborative, visible, and ready to shape culture in real time.
- Exceptional stakeholder management - credible, composed, and commercially minded.
Why this role? You'll be joining a business at a genuinely pivotal point - high growth, high ambition, and a leadership team that values HR as a strategic partner. If you're energised by structure-building, influencing senior leaders, and driving people strategy through change and acquisition, this is a brilliant next step.
