We're looking for a Data Scientist to support strategic planning by analysing how changing population characteristics affect service locations, attendance, and operational models.

You'll be exploring things like:

• How shifts in population density and demographics impact the need for fixed and mobile service locations
• Whether geographical factors influence attendance and non-attendance
• The real-world strengths and limitations of different batching models
• This role is about practical impact, not vanity dashboards.

What you'll be doing

• Exploring and analysing large datasets to uncover trends and patterns
• Cleaning, preparing and visualising data to support decisions
• Building clear, simple models that help operational teams plan more effectively
• Working closely with stakeholders to turn analysis into action

Key technical skills

• Strong experience with Python, Pandas and SQL
• Confident with data wrangling, exploration and visualisation
• Experience with business intelligence tools
