Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Paediatric Diabetes service as a Data Manager within the Leeds Childrens Hospital.
We are seeking a self-motivated, hardworking person who works to a high professional standard and is used to working on their own initiative. The post holder will assist in data collection and data entry for local and national returns.
The Paediatric Diabetes service is a fabulous place to work, and you will be joining a team who plays a pivotal role in supporting our patient care.
We also support flexible working with the opportunity to have an element of working remotely whilst also being based at St James Hospital.

Main duties of the job
To provide accurate entry of patient data into the Diabetes Management System and to monitor the quality and performance of the Children's Diabetes Service, as well as ensuring the appropriate funding of the Service by NHS England by efficient data management service for both clinical and management purposes to support the Directorate.
Responsible for the input of data into the Diabetes Management System and to provide information on new patient referrals, their demographic details, GP, Consultant, disease category and treatment. All this data is used to provide information for Contracting purposes.
