Job summary

Reporting to the Senior Digital Nurse/ Midwife/ AHP/ Pharmacist, your role will work closely with clinical, operational and technical colleagues to support a range of digital transformation and innovation programmes. You will use your clinical knowledge and experience to help ensure digital solutions are practical, user-focused and support improvements in patient care, staff experience and service delivery. The role will contribute to the delivery of a range of digital initiatives, including the ongoing development and optimisation of PPM+, our Electronic Health Record system. You will support engagement with frontline teams, gather user feedback and help promote the safe and effective adoption of digital systems and ways of working.

We are looking for an individual with relevant clinical experience, an interest in digital healthcare and a willingness to develop their knowledge and skills in digital healthcare. You will be a good communicator, enjoy working collaboratively with others and be committed to supporting positive change within healthcare services.

You will:

  • Support digital transformation initiatives across the Trust.
  • Champion the adoption of digital systems in clinical practice.
  • Work closely with nurses, midwives, AHPs, pharmacists and digital teams.
  • Provide clinical supervision and digital expertise.
  • Deliver Clinical Safety activities and support compliance with national standards.
  • Influence how technology improves patient and staff experience.

We're looking for an experienced Nurse, Midwife, AHP or Pharmacist who is passionate about improving care through technology. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Office of the CCIO and play a key role in delivering digital transformation across Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

You'll work at the frontline of digital healthcare, bridging the gap between clinical practice and technology, by being visible and working in clinical environments. Leading a portfolio of digital projects, you'll support the design, implementation and optimisation of electronic health records and other clinical systems, helping staff deliver safer, more effective care.

We're looking for:

  • A registered Nurse, Midwife, AHP or Pharmacist.
  • Significant clinical experience at Band 5 or above.
  • Experience of change, improvement, audit or project work.
  • Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills.
  • A passion for digital innovation and improving patient care.
