Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Officer to work as part of the Organisational Development and Culture (OD&C) Team, to support the development of eLearning packages, digital content within the Trust on a full-time permanent contract.
The post will be integral to the OD&C team where you will be responsible for collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to produce high quality eLearning packages, videos, and other forms of TEL intervention.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will play a key role in liaising with SMEs to support, co-ordinate, manage the production of digital content and development using agile methodology to support learning within the Trust.

Job description
Job responsibilities
Working within the Organisational Development & Culture (OD&C) department the post holder will work collaboratively with subject specialists and staff focus groups to produce high quality eLearning packages, videos and podcasts and other forms of TEL intervention. They will be resourceful and work well with direction from the Organisational Development Practitioner (ODP) and using their own initiative to scope development requirements and manage workflow.
The postholder will also be responsible for liaising with clinical and professional colleagues to support the delivery of compulsory learning provision. Additionally, they will work closely with the Organisational Development (OD) team in developing training packages specialising in Learning and Development skills.
The post holder will provide system administration, technical support, and advice on eLearning creation. You will be an accomplished and self-motivated individual with excellent technical, digital and media skills.
They will have the ability to work under your own initiative with minimal supervision, working to tight deadlines and changing priorities.
They will also be involved in the evaluation and on-going development of these programmes.
The post includes diary management, maintenance of accurate records and digital information management.
The post holder will develop training that engages, motivate and provides key information to learning, which can be measured against agreed outcomes, aims and requirements.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to level 4 qualification (e.g. NVQ level 4 or equivalent)
- GCSE Maths and English / or qualification at Level 2
- IT or digital media related qualification or equivalent professional knowledge
- Project Management qualification or course attendance
- Evidence of working across different sectors.
Experience
- Experience in Learning Management System admin and support or similar.
- Experience of image and video editing software.
- Experience of e-Learning authoring and using HTML5 compatible software.
- Experience of use of other eLearning development software, cloud or locally based.
- Understanding of Electronic Staff Records (ESR) and other technical systems
- Technical expertise in the use of MS Excel.
- Previous experience in the NHS in a Workforce Information, HR or Education technical systems management or maintenance role
